Chris Carter is couragous.

Chris showed his courage by showing the world what the Labour Party really thinks of Phil Goff. As much of a nice guy as he may have been there was no way that Phil could have won the election.

Phil had serious credibility problems, he was a rogernome turned socialist and anĀ even bigger flip-flopper than Key ever was. It’s time for Phil to go. We’re with Chris on this one!

Indeed, Chris has raised a very difficult yet important problem, we have a Labour leader who is completely incapable of winning the next election yet no visible desire from the rest of the party to face up to this problem. Anyone who has spent anytime in the Labour party of course knows of it’s members blind devotion in place of critical self reflection. A church if there ever was one.

Chris might be crazy, he might have lost it, he might be a horrible vindictive man, none of this however changes the validity of the problem I raised above.

You’re missing an E. Did Chris Carter eat it? That’d explain things.

CC did the right thing ?? – Yeah Right !! – Thansk for helping the National Cause ! :)

John Key is the greatest … Aunty Helen can stay in NY .. in fact she can come back and rescue her poor little lap dog and take him with her ….

  6. Gooner says:

Why are you writing about Goff in past tense?

    Right on!

As anyone who votes left of centre knows, the last thing Labour needs right now is the millstone of an experienced and at least reasonably competent leader like Phil Goff around its neck.

With major changes to labour law in the pipeline, New Zealanders demand a Labour party that’s focused on the real work of tearing itself to bits – not one that wastes its time putting up some kind of principled opposition to the current government and its policies.

I wept tears of joy when I heard of Chris’ valiant stand to improve Labour’s election chances. Nobody has worked harder than Chris to further sink those chances over recent months, so he would be the expert there.

All hail Chris Carter, master political strategist of our age!

  8. BTW, technical incompetency alert !!!!!!

get rid of the hello world post.

  9. Troy says:

I would like Georgina Beyer to make a stupendous political comeback and challenge Goff for the position of Labour leader. That’d shake things up in the country.

We’re not going to get anywhere for minorities with National or a leader of Labour such as Goff. Right-wingers such as him and King belong in National.

Helen Clark, for all her faults, had just started to send things on the right path. She brought in civil unions and prostitution law reform and had only just gotten started when it was abruptly taken away from her.

We need someone like Beyer, who would be forthright and uncompromising in her stance on equal rights. She would champion fully-fledged gay marriage, possibly certain forms of bigamy, and may just have some revolutionary insights on how to transform the welfare and tax systems to benefit people fairly, not use those systems as National are doing in order to advance their own political agendas by bullying those in poverty and by enhancing the lives of their main support base, the rich.
